Avocado Ranch BLT Turkey Wraps
These healthy, simple wraps are the perfect make ahead meal. The avocado ranch gives these wraps the best flavor and packs some extra nutrients into the wraps.
Ingredients
Avocado ranch dressing:
1 avocado
1/4 cup cilantro
1/4 cup dairy free milk
1/2 cup avocado oil based mayo
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp dill
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Other:
6 gluten free tortillas of choice
1 lb bacon
2 tomatoes
1 head of lettuce
1 lb turkey slices
Method
1) Preheat oven to 400F
2) Add the bacon to a pan lined with parchment paper (for easier clean up)
3) Bake for 15 minutes
4) While the bacon cooks, add the ingredients of the avocado ranch to a food processor or blender
5) Blend to combine
6) Cut up lettuce and tomato
7) When the bacon is done, either assemble your wrap for the next day or store ingredients in separate containers to make the night before or day of.
8) I don’t recommend making them more than 24 hours in advance because the sauce can make the wrap soggy. If you don’t mind that, you definitely can make them ahead of time!
9) Tip: squeeze a little lime juice on the dressing before storing it to help prevent it from turning brown
