Banana Cookie Dough Smoothie

Banana Cookie Dough Smoothie in a glass jar with granola on top

Ingredients

1 frozen banana

2 chopped dates

1/2 tbsp almond butter

1/2 tbsp chocolate chips

1/2 cup ice

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/2 cup plain Lifeway Kefir

1 tsp vanilla

sprinkle of salt

Method

  1. Make sure the banana is chopped into coins. I normally cut it before I freeze it so it’s easier to use in recipes. Chop the dates into small pieces.
  2. In a blender, combine everything and blend.
  3. You can add more liquid or ice depending on how you like the texture of your smoothies.
  4. Enjoy topped with some more nut butter or some gluten free chocolate granola!
