Crockpot Lasagna

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 onion, diced

1 red pepper, diced

14.5 oz can fire-roasted tomatoes

24 oz jar marinara sauce

6 cups beef bone broth

13 oz gluten free lasagna noodles

Salt and pepper to taste

Spices: 1 tbsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp garlic powder, salt & pepper to taste 

Toppings:

Mozzarella cheese

Ricotta cheese

Method

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet for 4-5 minutes then drain grease 
  2. Add ground beef to the crockpot along with the red pepper, onion, tomatoes, marinara sauce, bone broth, & spices 
  3. Cook on high for 4 hrs or on low for 8 hrs 
  4. Break lasagna pieces into bite size
  5. After the soup has cooked, add lasagna noodles
  6. Cook on high for 30 minutes 
  7. Remove and serve! Add ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese to each individual bowl as you serve it 
  8. Makes 6-8 servings.
