Easy Blackened Shrimp

This gluten free, healthy dinner is ready in 15 minutes and packed with veggies. Tasty, simple, and easy to throw together for a healthy lunch or healthy dinner. Healthy shrimp is always a good go to dinner! #glutenfree #shrimp #healthydinner

Ingredients

1 lb shrimp 

1 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp garlic powder 

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika 

1/2 tsp cumin 

1 tbsp olive oil 

Method

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat 
  2. In a bowl- mix together the spices 
  3. Pat the shrimp dry.
  4. In a separate bowl- add the shrimp and then coat with 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add the spices and make sure each piece is coated. 
  5. Once the pan is hot, add a little bit of olive oil to the pan then add the shrimp. 
  6. Cook the shrimp for 5 minutes then add in veggies if you want! I added kale and zucchini 
  7. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the shrimp are a little brown around the edges. 
  8. Enjoy!
