French Toast For One
This French Toast is a healthy, easy breakfast for one. Simple to make, minimal ingredients, and so tasty! An easy, healthy breakfast.
Ingredients
2–3 slices of sourdough bread
1 egg + 1 egg white
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp coconut sugar*
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 400F
- In a bowl, whisk the egg and egg white. Then add in the milk, cinnamon, 1 tsp of the coconut sugar, and vanilla.
- Cut the bread into cubes
- Add the cubed bread into the egg mixture and make sure every piece is coated.
- Transfer the mixture into a small baking dish or a ramekin.
- Bake for 35- 40 minutes. Pull out the french toast and sprinkle with 1 tsp of coconut sugar.
- Add any toppings you want- I picked bananas, maple syrup, and chocolate chips.
Notes
Use 1 tsp for the bake and sprinkle the other tsp on top.
