Healthy French Toast Sticks
Easy and healthy french toast sticks!
Ingredients
Sourdough bread
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 eggs
2 egg whites
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1 scoop protein powder/collagen
2 tbsp coconut sugar
Method
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Line a baking pan with either foil, silicone baking sheets, or non stick spray
- Whisk the eggs together in a bowl then add in the cinnamon, vanilla, collagen, and 1 tbsp of coconut sugar (the other will be for later!)
- Cut the bread into slices, soak in the mixture, then line the baking pan. Repeat until all of the mixture is used up or you can use leftover mixture to make scrambled eggs
- Bake for 15 mins. Then pull them out and sprinkle with coconut sugar.
- Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to get them crispy!
