Ingredients

  • 23 chicken breasts (2 large or 3 small)
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 23 tbsp arrowroot flour/powder

Method

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the orange juice, honey, coconut aminos, ginger, salt & pepper, red pepper flakes, sriracha, and garlic powder.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into cubes
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat
  4. Add olive oil and the chicken
  5. Cook the chicken for about 5 minutes, until it’s cooked all the way through.
  6. Add the small bowl of sauce on top.
  7. Let the mixture simmer before you add the arrowroot flour.
  8. Add in the arrowroot flour and stir for a few minutes as the sauce thickens.
  9. Add more as needed about 1/2 tbsp at a time if you need more! Remove and serve over rice, I prepared mine when I cooked the chicken!
