Maple Pecan French Toast Skillet
This easy, healthy maple pecan french toast skillet is the perfect healthy breakfast for a meal prep or Saturday morning!
Ingredients
4 1/2 cups of cubed sourdough bread*
3 eggs
2 scoops Vanilla protein
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup chopped pecans
Method
- Cut bread into cubes
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs together
- Add in your protein powder, cinnamon, almond milk, maple syrup, coconut sugar, and pecans. Mix together.
- Add in your bread and mix together
- Spray a pan with nonstick spray and add your mixture in, refrigerate overnight or at least 30 minutes
- Preheat oven to 400F
- Add more pecans on top of the mixture and put in oven for 25-30 minutes.
