Maple Pecan French Toast Skillet

This easy, healthy maple pecan french toast skillet is the perfect healthy breakfast for a meal prep or Saturday morning!

Ingredients

4 1/2 cups of cubed sourdough bread*

3 eggs

2 scoops Vanilla protein

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 tbsp cinnamon

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup coconut sugar

1/4 cup chopped pecans

Method

  1. Cut bread into cubes
  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs together
  3. Add in your protein powder, cinnamon, almond milk, maple syrup, coconut sugar, and pecans.  Mix together.
  4. Add in your bread and mix together
  5. Spray a pan with nonstick spray and add your mixture in, refrigerate overnight or at least 30 minutes
  6. Preheat oven to 400F
  7. Add more pecans on top of the mixture and put in oven for 25-30 minutes.
