Paleo Crispy Chicken Nuggets

These air fried, paleo, gluten free, crispy, chicken nuggets are an easy, healthy version of the classic recipe. A way to enjoy a favorite food with minimal ingredients and ready in only 12 minutes.

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

2 eggs

1 cup almond flour

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp chipotle powder*

Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 390F
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk 2 eggs.
  3. In another shallow bowl, mix together the almond flour and spices.
  4. Cut the chicken breasts into nugget sizes.
  5. Dip the chicken nugget into the egg mixture then dip into the flour mixture.
  6. Repeat until each chicken nugget is coated.
  7. Add non stick spray to your air fryer IF it calls for it. Each air fryer is different.
  8. Depending on the size of your air fryer, add about half the batch of the nuggets. You don’t want to overcrowd them so you may have to do two batches.
  9. Fry for 6 minutes, flip, fry for 6 more minutes.
  10. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
