Paleo Grass Fed Burgers

These paleo burgers are healthy and grass fed. Ready in just 15 minutes- the perfect easy healthy meal!

Ingredients

2 Large Sweet Potatoes*

1 lb grass fed ground beef

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp chili powder

Avocado Oil

Method

Sweet Potato Buns: 

  1. Heat the oven to 500F or broil
  2. Slice the sweet potatoes into thick slices.
  3. Add to a pan sprayed with nonstick spray
  4. Place the sweet potatoes on the pan, add the pan to the bottom shelf so they don’t burn.
  5. Let cook for 10 minutes

Burger Recipe: 

  1. In a bowl, add the ground beef and spices together and mix.
  2. Form burgers- makes 4
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add avocado oil into the pan to grease it
  5. Add burgers and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side

 

Notes

*Choose Sweet Potatoes that are extra wide so they make better slices
