PB & Banana Stuffed French Toast

PB & Banana Stuffed French Toast {Simple, Healthy, DF}

Ingredients

2 slices of sourdough (or any bread!) Peanut butter
1 banana
1 egg
1/2 cup milk of choice (I used almond milk)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla

Method

  1. In a shallow bowl big enough to fit your bread in, whisk the egg
  2.  Then add in milk, cinnamon, and vanilla and whisk together.
  3. Option to add a little sugar here if you want a sweeter breakfast.
  4. Then make your Pb banana sandwich.
  5. Add peanut butter on one side of the bread then add banana coins on the other.
  6. Combine into a sandwich then dip in your French toast mixture, letting the bread soak it in.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add some butter or coconut oil.
  8. Then add your sandwich in.
  9. Cook for 3-4 minutes, flip, cook 3-4 more minutes.
  10. Remove and eat either on its own or top with a little honey or maple syrup.
