Healthy Orange Chicken

Ingredients
- 2–3 chicken breasts (2 large or 3 small)
- 1 1/2 cups orange juice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2–3 tbsp arrowroot flour/powder
Method
- In a small bowl, mix together the orange juice, honey, coconut aminos, ginger, salt & pepper, red pepper flakes, sriracha, and garlic powder.
- Cut the chicken breasts into cubes
- Heat a skillet over medium heat
- Add olive oil and the chicken
- Cook the chicken for about 5 minutes, until it’s cooked all the way through.
- Add the small bowl of sauce on top.
- Let the mixture simmer before you add the arrowroot flour.
- Add in the arrowroot flour and stir for a few minutes as the sauce thickens.
- Add more as needed about 1/2 tbsp at a time if you need more! Remove and serve over rice, I prepared mine when I cooked the chicken!
