What, another pumpkin recipe? Who, me? Haha yet another pumpkin recipe for you guys! I seriously feel so bad for people who don’t like pumpkin this time of year. I feel like it’s just pumpkin overload! And I 100% am part of contributing to that overload. It’s so funny how as soon as the mornings start getting chilly, I just want everything pumpkin. This pumpkin pie smoothie is the perfect easy, healthy breakfast to get your pumpkin fix!

What You Need For This Smoothie:

I’ve listed out everything you need for this pumpkin pie smoothie and linked some of the ingredients on Amazon!

Pumpkin Puree

Almond Milk


Vanilla Protein or Collagen

Maple Syrup


Pumpkin Pie Spice



What Blender I Use:

I use my Vitamix Ascent 3500 for all of my smoothies, sauces, ice cream, and even to blend batter for pancakes, waffles, breads, and muffins! It has made all of the difference in the texture of my recipes. You don’t need a nice blender to make recipes but it will make a difference if you’re able to get one!

Topping Ideas:

I topped mine with a little vanilla greek yogurt. You could do nut butter, granola, or even a little whipped cream if you’re really feeling the pumpkin pie vibes!

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie (healthy, paleo, gluten free)


3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup pumpkin purée
1 cup ice
2 tbsp vanilla protein (I used this Ancient Nutrition vanilla collagen 
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 avocado* 


  1. Blend together all of the ingredients
  2. Top with some Greek yogurt, cinnamon, or nut butter!


*can sub 1/2 cup coconut milk.
