HELLOOO to the easiest and most versatile jam recipe EVER!
You can make this recipe with some many different berries which I love! I’ve tried blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries. Each one was just as delicious as the next!
The hardest part about making this jam- deciding what to use it on! I loaded mine onto a cashew butter sourdough sandwich- can you say yum?! But also be warned- it’s hard to not eat it all straight out of the jar haha.
All you need to make the jam are blackberries, chia seeds, and a little bit of water! Yup, seriously- that’s it! It’s almost too good to be true but once you make it, you’ll see it’s the real deal!
I was peanut butter and jelly OBSESSED when I was a kid but now I try to avoid high fructose corn syrup and typically jelly is packed with it. I love this recipe because you can make it quickly in the morning for breakfast or make it on a Sunday to eat all week!
TO MAKE: You just need to heat a sauce pan over medium heat, add a little bit of water, then add a cup of blackberries in. Let them simmer for about 5 minutes, mash them with a fork, then add in 2 tbsp of chia seeds. Mix them in and let simmer for about 5 more minutes. Then I store the jam in an old mason jar or old peanut butter jar! It will keep for about a week in the fridge.
