I am pressure cooker obsessed over here! I got one at the end of last year and I’ve been wanting to make everything in it. It’s just so. dang. simple!! Seriously- any recipe takes about 1/2 the time in a pressure cooker. Forget about the crock pot- pressure cooker is the new easy appliance every kitchen needs. And this paleo pressure cooker chili is the first thing you should make in it š
I know not everyone is on the pressure cooker train (yet ;)) so if you don’t have a pressure cooker and want to make chili, check out my Crockpot Turkey Chili recipe here.
I made this paleo pressure cooker chili with sweet potatoes instead of beans. Of course I did because I add sweet potatoes into any dish I can haha. For me, it’s easier to digest sweet potato than beans and just overall I’m able to tolerate it better.
I have a Mealthy pressure cooker and I love it!! Always read reviews of appliances before purchasing- I’ve learned this the hard way haha. Linked it here on Amazon.
I also took the easy way out and used a premade chili seasoning. There are so many easy chili seasoning recipes but I just couldn’t find one that had ingredients I had on hand. So I just bought an organic chili seasoning and it worked great!
I also used grass fed ground beef in this recipe because I’ve been trying to clean up my protein! It’s so important to try (if you’re able to) to eat good quality meat. High quality meat is one of my top priorities health wise this year.
This recipe is so perfect this time of year- with a low temp in the negatives tomorrow… I need ALL the chili and warm food haha. Hope it’s warmer wherever you all are!
