Air Fryer Crispy Garlic Fries
These air fryer crispy garlic fries are so tasty! I’ve always been a big fan of crispy fries so I know these will be on repeat over here. They’re vegan and gluten free but I listed substitutions below. You could also bake these fries but adjust how long you bake them! The nice thing is, if you cut the fries thin they don’t take as long to cook! Hope you enjoy!
What You Need For This Recipe:
Gold Potatoes
Olive Oil
Water
Nutritional yeast- can sub parmesan cheese
Garlic Powder
Smoked Paprika
Onion Powder
Salt
Pepper
Parsley
Large Bowl
Recipe Tips:
There are two tricks to getting your fries super crispy. One, soak them in water after you slice them before you add your seasonings. Two, cut them as thin as you can. It takes a little extra time but I promise it’s worth it! Especially if you love thin fries. I personally have always preferred thin fries (like McDonalds style) to thick steak cut fries.
Another tip is to make sure you shake the fries halfway through when you’re air frying them. You don’t want these air fryer crispy garlic fries to stick to the pan!

Ingredients
- 4 large gold sweet potatoes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp parsley
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Slice the potatoes into super thin fries
- Soak in water for an hour
- Then strain, pat dry, add to a large bowl
- Add the olive oil and coat the fries
- Then add all of the seasoning
- Air fry at 400F for about 15 minutes, flip halfway.
- I had to do two batches!
- Serve with whatever toppings you want!
