So now as an adult I can make a more fun version for breakfast! This layered peanut butter and jelly smoothie is the breakfast of your childhood dreams! It requires minimal ingredients and is ready in about 5 minutes. Plus it’s healthy, vegan, and easily made paleo if you sub another nut butter!
What You Need For This Recipe:
frozen banana
peanut butter
old fashioned rolled oats
oat milk
frozen strawberries (any berries work fine)
vanilla protein
chia seeds
blender
Recipe Tips:
Blend the peanut butter layer first. Then put it in a jar and set aside. Make sure you put the jar in the freezer so the peanut butter layer doesn’t melt while you make the jelly layer!

Ingredients
Peanut butter layer:
1 frozen banana
1 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp old fashioned rolled oats
1/4 cup milk of choice
Jelly layer:
1/2 cup frozen strawberries (any berries work fine)
1 scoop vanilla protein
1 tsp chia seeds
2 tbsp milk (add more if needed)
Method
- Blend together the peanut butter layer
- Add more milk if needed
- Add to a jar
- Put in freezer
- Blend together the jelly layer
- Add on top of the peanut butter layer
- Add toppings and enjoy!
