Apple Streusel Bread
This apple streusel bread is a must make this fall! Paleo, gluten free, and grain free. It has a cinnamon apple bread with a maple pecan topping. Pretty much my dream fall combo! Now I just need to go apple picking to get some apples to make this again. Nothing sounds more ideal for fall than apple picking and making this loaf.

Peanut Butter or Cashew Butter
Apples
Cinnamon

Recipe Tips:
For this recipe, you’ll make the bread and then you’ll make the streusel topping. I recommend using a food processor to make the topping vs a blender because you want to chop it up, not puree it.
For the bread, you’ll follow the instructions below but when you add it to a pan, use parchment paper for easy removal. It makes getting bread out of a loaf pan 10x easier! You can use clothespins to keep the parchment paper in place then remove them before baking the bread.
Store the bread on the counter for 2-3 days or 4-5 days in the fridge.

Ingredients
Apple streusel bread:
3 eggs
3/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp coconut flour
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup applesauce
1/4 cup peanut butter*
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 green apple diced
Streusel topping:
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup pecans
1 tsp cinnamon
Sprinkle of salt
3 tbsp applesauce
Method
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs.
- Then add in the rest of the ingredients besides the apples.
- Mix well then fold in the apples.
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and add the batter in.
- In a food processor, add all of the ingredients for the topping and pulse together.
- Then add it on top of the loaf.
- Bake at 350F for 38-42 minutes! Let cool completely then slice and enjoy
