Healthy French Toast Bites

A fun, tasty breakfast that is so perfect with your favorite dipping sauces! These healthy french toast bites are seriously the best- soft on the inside but perfectly crispy on the outside. They’ve got a great cinnamon and vanilla flavor. I love making these for breakfast on a slow Saturday and then having leftovers for the next few days!

French Toast Bites (healthy, dairy free)

What You Need For This Recipe:

3-4 slices of bread of choice. I used sourdough

Eggs

almond milk (or any non dairy milk)

Cinnamon

Coconut Sugar

Vanilla Protein

Ghee or Butter

Maple Syrup

French Toast Bites (healthy, dairy free)

Other Ideas for this Recipe:

Dipping sauces: maple syrup, an icing mixture of powdered sugar and milk, yogurt mixed with cinnamon, warmed berries mashed, so many options!

Coating: you can make a cinnamon sugar mixture and coat the outside of the healthy french toast bites with it! So easy and makes them even tastier.

Substitutions:

For this recipe, if you don’t have vanilla protein that’s totally fine! You can use vanilla extract and a little bit of sweetener instead. I would do 1 tsp vanilla + 1 tsp coconut sugar to replace the vanilla protein. I like having the protein in the recipe though!
