Maple Paleo Donuts

These maple paleo donuts are super fluffy, flavorful, AND made with only 6 ingredients! The icing on top is only 3 ingredients. No excuse to not recreate this magical, healthier baked donut recipe! These are the perfect paleo breakfast, snack, or even dessert. I love recreating healthy donuts because who doesn’t love a donut?!

We live literally a block away from Dunkin’ Donuts soooo the donut cravings are always real haha. When I was a kid, on Tuesday’s my mom and I always stopped for a donut on the way to school. It was a little tradition we had so donuts are really nostalgic for me. Being able to recreate a homemade donut not only makes my taste buds happy but also my heart.

These donuts are ready in just 12 minutes. Perfect for when that random donut craving hits! I made them ahead of time before I had them for breakfast but you honestly could make them in the morning because they bake quickly. If you make them ahead of time, warm them up a little bit because they taste amazing warm!

The best part of these donuts is definitely the icing- it’s sooo easy to make with 3 easy ingredients and it makes all the difference! You need coconut butter, almond milk (or any milk), and maple syrup. If you don’t have them on hand, drizzle some nut butter on top and that will be delicious too!

The biggest tip when making these that I have is to make sure you let them cool before you remove them from the donut pan. This is the donut pan I always use- it makes cute smaller donuts. I like the smaller size because then you have more!

Paleo Maple Donuts

These paleo, gluten free maple donuts are the best healthy donuts around! Made with only 6 ingredients and ready in 12 minutes.

1 cup almond flour (I like using blanched because it bakes better) 

2 eggs 

3 tbsp maple syrup 

1 tsp cinnamon 

1 tsp baking soda

2 tsp vanilla extract 


1/4 cup coconut butter

1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk 

2 tbsp maple syrup 


1. Preheat oven to 325F 

2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs. Then add in the rest of the donut ingredients and mix together with a hand mixer or an immersion blender (my favorite to use) 

3. Spray a donut pan with non stick spray and fill the donuts about 1/2 way with the batter because you don’t want them to overflow while they bake. 

4. Bake for 12 minutes and let cool before you remove from the pan. Makes 8-9 donuts


  1. While the donuts cool, combine your icing ingredients into a bowl and mix together. Microwave for 15 seconds to make it a liquid. 
  2. After the donuts are cooled, dip in the icing. Either eat right away or put in the fridge and let the icing harden.
