Sweet Potato Pizza Crust
A delicious healthy homemade pizza crust made with sweet potatoes! I love sweet potatoes in almost any recipe. I’ll link a bunch of my favorite sweet potato recipes below. I normally make a big batch of baked sweet potatoes at the beginning of the week and then I have them on hand all week long to use in recipes. Then I don’t have to wait for them to bake when I’m ready to make this sweet potato pizza crust!

I’ll use sweet potatoes in any type of recipe. Brownies, breads, biscuits, and of course dinner recipes. This sweet potato pizza crust is a new favorite way to use a baked sweet potato that I have on hand. Only 7 ingredients, gluten free, and easily dairy free if you use dairy free toppings. I went with classic pepperoni and cheese here.
Recipe Instructions:
First you need to cook the sweet potato. I like to do this a day or even a few days before. Then it’s ready to go and you don’t have to wait a long time in the moment. I’ll bake mine at 425F for 50 minutes. If you’re in a time crunch, you can always microwave it too.
Once you have a cooked sweet potato, peel the skin off and mash it. Add to a mixing bowl. Then add the rest of your ingredients into the bowl. Mix together well.
Once you’ve mixed together the dough, press it into a bowl in the bowl. Now, you can either make 2 mini pizza crusts or 1 large pizza crust. I’ve made both! Here I made 2 mini crusts. You’ll want to flatten the dough out to be about 1/2 inch thick.
Then bake at 400F for 30 minutes. Remove, flip, and bake 10 more minutes. Remove, add your toppings, and bake 5-10 more minutes.
Let the pizza cool, slice, and enjoy!
What’s your favorite pizza topping? I went with the classic pepperoni and cheese but I added spinach on top of the sauce here! I love sneaking in some veggies where I can!

*To make vegan, sub a flax egg. 1 tbsp flaxseed meal + 2.5 tbsp water mixed together and then let thicken for 5 minutes before using it as an egg in the recipe.
