4 Ingredient Chocolate Christmas Tree

Viral Christmas Tree Pastry. You just need 4 ingredients to make this easy holiday dessert. Perfect for any holiday party!

  • 1 egg 
  • 2 sheets puff pastry 
  • 34 tbsp chocolate nut butter of choice ( I used 
  • powdered sugar


  • Preheat oven to 400F
  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper
• Spread chocolate nut butter evenly over one of the puff pastries 
  • layer the other one on top 
  • cut into the shape of a Christmas tree
  • cut the extra into stars 
  • Transfer to baking sheet. Cut slits on both sides spacing them about 1-inch apart, leaving the center intact.
  • Twist each strip of pastry twice, pressing the ends into the baking sheet. 
  • Brush pastry with egg yolk mixed with a little water
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes at 400°F until golden.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes. 
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve
