Yet another donut recipe… I may be *slightly* obsessed with creating new, cake-y donut recipes haha. Whenever I create a new recipe, I tend to get obsessed and make it 10 different ways. These paleo chocolate donuts are one of my favorites so far! Fudgy, chocolate-y, and the perfect texture- they are the perfect meal prep breakfast for the week or a fun weekend brunch idea! Made with minimal ingredients and ready in only 12 minutes.
I tried out a new donut pan (I used this silicone one) and it was 10x easier and made me enjoy these donuts even more, if that’s even possible haha. They came out of the pan without falling apart or sticking! I decided to top them with sprinkles because they felt more like regular donuts with them on. Weird but I promise it makes a difference!
These donuts had such a great texture- I love when donuts turn out cake like! I was the weird kid who always ordered cake donuts instead of glazed so these truly hit the spot. The best part is these paleo chocolate donuts are made with only 6 ingredients! Plus they’re gluten free, paleo, grain free, and dairy free. They fit whatever type of lifestyle you follow 🙂
Simple recipes that don’t require 10 million ingredients are my favorite. I get overwhelmed with crazy long recipes so ones that are simple and quick are always the ones I go for. Who wants to wait hours to enjoy a delicious treat?! I know I don’t have that kind of patience haha.

DONUTS:
2 eggsÂ
1 cup almond flourÂ
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanillaÂ
1 tsp baking powder
TOPPING:
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp coconut oil
Method
- Preheat oven to 325F
- In a bowl, whisk the 2 eggs then add in the rest of the ingredients and mix together with either a hand mixer or immersion blender.Â
- Spray a donut pan with nonstick spray (I recommend these silicone ones, they make it 10x easier to remove the donuts). Fill the donut pan about 3/4 of the way with the batter.Â
- Once the oven is preheated, add the donuts into the oven and bake for 12 minutes.Â
- Remove and let cool while you make your icing mixture.Â
- Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave for 15 seconds at a time, remove and stir, and repeat until melted.Â
- Dip the donuts in the icing and add the sprinkles. Let the icing harden in the fridge or eat right then!Â
- Makes 6 donuts.Â
