Paleo Everything Crackers

Anyone else out there a dip fan?! I love all types: salsa, guac, hummus, dairy free cheese sauce, truly there aren’t many variations I don’t enjoy! Now I’m giving you the perfect vehicle to eat all these magical dips with: paleo everything crackers. You’ll want to eat these with just about everything you have on hand šŸ˜‰

The first time I made them, I was eating them like crazy with my Paleo Chicken Noodle Soup. This was before I photographed them or anything. I had some extra almond pulp from making homemade almond milk and wanted to experiment with paleo crackers. I ended up replacing the pulp with almond flour because I figured more people would have that on hand!

These crackers are seriously so simple to make. They take 5 minutes to mix together and about 12-15 minutes to bake depending on how thin you roll them. That’s it! Plus they only have 4 ingredients (if you don’t count the water). If you don’t have a Trader Joe’s near you, check out Walmart. They had a very similar seasoning to the Everything But The Bagel recently!

To make these paleo everything crackers: I combined the almond flour, water, flaxseed meal, and chia seeds into my Kitchen Aid mixer but you can mix by hand as well! I mixed everything together. Then I formed everything into a big ball of dough and placed it in between two sheets of parchment paper. I rolled the mixture out with a water bottle because I could NOT find my rolling pin for the life of me haha. Gotta do what works šŸ™‚

I tried to get mine as thin as possible because I wanted crunchy crackers. It ended up being about 1/8-1/10 of an inch. Very thin but not too thin that it fell apart.

Once it was rolled, I removed the top piece of parchment paper. Then I sprinkled with Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel seasoning. Then I took a pizza cutter and cut them into crackers. You can use a fork to poke holes in them if you want more of a cracker look but I didn’t.

How to bake and store these crackers: Then I baked these paleo everything crackers on a baking sheet still on the parchment paper. They take about 12-15 minutes to bake. Once they’re done- serve with whatever you want or store them for later! I kept mine out on the counter for 2-3 days then moved them into the fridge after that for another day because I was worried they’d go bad.

Paleo Everything Crackers

These healthy, simple crackers are paleo and gluten free but still taste delicious! Perfect to pair with any dip for a party, get together, or just for yourself!

Ingredients

1 cup almond flour

1 tbsp flaxseed meal

1 tbsp chia seeds

Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel seasoning

3 tbsp water

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. In a bowl or mixer- add in your almond flour, water, chia seeds, and flaxseed meal. Mix together until blended well.
  3. Once mixed, make the mixture into a ball. Pack it together well.
  4. Lay out two pieces of parchment paper to roll the ‘dough’ out on. Make sure they’re rather large.
  5. Place the mixture in between the two pieces of parchment paper. Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough. I made mine pretty thin- about 1/10 of an inch.
  6. Remove the top piece of parchment paper. Sprinkle the crackers with Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel seasoning.
  7. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut them into cracker shape. You can use a fork to poke holes in them if you want as well.
  8. Transfer them on the parchment paper to a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes depending on how thin you slice them
  9. Serve with hummus, soup, or just eat plain
