Vanilla Green Smoothie
Sharing one of my new favorite recipes that I’ve been eating like crazy for breakfast or even lunch! It’s packed with veggies, fiber, protein, and healthy fats. And a little bit of natural sugar to make it even tastier! This vanilla green smoothie is the perfect healthy breakfast recipe to start your day.

I wasn’t a smoothie person for the longest time but recently I can’t get enough! I love recipes that are completely customizable and that’s exactly what smoothies are. You can make a million different flavor combos, add a ton of healthy veggies and fruits in, and lots of spices. This vanilla green one has a lot of spinach in it and you can’t even taste it!
I know people have different views on fruit in smoothies- a lot of stuff out there saying it’s not actually the healthiest. The thing is, a banana isn’t going to make me unhealthy. What makes me unhealthy is forcing myself to drink a smoothie full of only veggies, hating it, and wishing all day I’d had a banana instead. That kind of cycle is toxic and not the way I want to live my life.
If you love smoothies without fruit, that’s amazing but that’s not me. I enjoy adding a serving of fruit in and getting that natural sugar. A banana in this recipe gives it the perfect taste and I just love it! Always listen to your body and what makes YOU feel your best.

Vanilla Green Smoothie
This easy, healthy smoothie is veggie packed but still delicious. A great healthy breakfast recipe made with bananas, greens, collagen, and lots of fiber. A paleo, gluten free recipe. #paleo #paleobreakfast #paleorecipes #glutenfree #glutenfreefood #healthybreakfast
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup ice
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach
1 tbsp vanilla protein powder*
1 tbsp nut butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
Method
- Slice the banana into coins
- Add everything into a blender and blend until it’s all mixed together
- Add more ice or almond milk to get the consistency you want
- Top with more nut butter, yogurt, granola, or some fresh berries!
