Ingredients
2 lbs ground chicken or ground turkey (I prefer chicken)Â
28 ounces of fire roasted diced tomatoesÂ
1 15 ounce can pumpkin purĂ©eÂ
2 bell peppers, dicedÂ
1 yellow onion, dicedÂ
2 cups chicken bone broth (or just regular broth, I like bone broth for extra protein)Â
2 tbsp tomato pasteÂ
2 tbsp cocoa powderÂ
Spices:
1 1/2 tbsp chili powderÂ
1 tbsp garlic powderÂ
1 tsp paprikaÂ
1 1/2 tsp cuminÂ
1/2 tsp nutmegÂ
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt (can add more to taste later)Â
Method
1) Turn your instant pot to sautĂ© modeÂ
2) Add a little oilÂ
3) Add the peppers and onionÂ
4) SautĂ© for 3-5 minutesÂ
5) add ground chicken/turkeyÂ
6) sauté until browned then drain excess liquid
7) turn off sautĂ© mode and add the rest of the ingredientsÂ
8) seal the lid and turn on pressure cooker to HIGH and set timer for 10 minutesÂ
9) when the timer goes off, quick release and enjoy!
