Caramel Apple Nachos

These caramel apple nachos are a perfect fall snack or dessert! It’s a great “sweet treat” for those holiday cravings. They are so easy to whip up and would make a great movie snack on a chilly night when you want something quick. The flavors are SO good – salty, sweet, and tart. This would also be a great after-school snack for kids! You’ll have to let me know if you try this fun fall snack (or dessert!). I’m going to be making it on repeat. Apples are in season this time of year, so it’s be best time to incorporate them into your recipe lineup. Enjoy!

Green apples
Chocolate chips
Coconut oil
Peanuts
Medjool dates
Canned coconut milk (full fat)
Salt
Maple syrup

Caramel Apple Nachos

Caramel Apple Nachos 🍎🍏
The perfect fall snack or dessert! This would be so fun to snack on while passing Halloween candy out next week, I’ll be making them for sure! Recipe below.

Ingredients

34 green apples, thinly sliced
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/3 cup peanuts, crushed
Date caramel:
8 medjool dates
1/4 cup canned coconut milk (full fat)
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup maple syrup

Method

Soak the dates in water for 1 hour
Drain water and add the dates to a blender
Add the canned coconut milk, salt, & maple syrup
Blend until smooth
Melt together the chocolate chips and coconut oil. I microwaved them for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until smooth.
Assemble the nachos. Add the apples, then chocolate, caramel, and crushed peanuts. So easy and fun!
