It’s an easy & delicious salad to enjoy this summer; something about the hot weather just makes having a salad sound so good. The flavor combination with this one is perfect; it’s decadent yet filled with veggies. I like to make this salad for a quick lunch or dinner, since we usually have a lot of these ingredients on hand. You can easily have a family meal on the table in under 30 minutes! Chicken

Ingredients

Ingredients:

4 cups chopped romaine 

2 cups chopped cooked chicken 

1/2 cup chopped tomatoes 

1/3 cup chopped cooked bacon 

1 avocado, chopped 

1/3 cup chopped red onion 

Honey mustard dressing:

1/4 cup olive oil 

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 

2 tbsp honey 

1/4 cup dijon mustard 

1/2 tsp garlic powder 

1/2 tsp salt 

Method

In a small bowl, whisk the dressing ingredients together.

In a large bowl, combine the salad ingredients. 

Add the dressing and toss.

Remove and serve.

This makes 4-5 servings!
