Maple Pecan Stovetop Oatmeal (gluten free and vegan)
I love making stovetop oatmeal in the fall and winter! It’s so much better than microwave oatmeal. If you’re in a hurry, microwave is definitely the easier route. But if you have some extra time, you need to try making stovetop oats! This maple pecan stovetop oatmeal is gluten free, vegan, and has the most perfect fall flavors!
What You Need For This Recipe:
Gluten Free Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
Unsweetened Almond Milk (any milk)
Maple Syrup
Chopped Pecans
Vanilla
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Medium Sized Pot
Recipe Tips:
You can definitely microwave this recipe but like I personally like it better on the stovetop. If you microwave it, combine all the ingredients in a microwave safe bowl. Then mix together and microwave 2 1/2-3 minutes.
I like adding toppings to my maple pecan stovetop oatmeal! I added bananas, peanut butter, yogurt, and a few more chopped pecans.
You can add any nuts you want to this recipe! I love the maple and pecan flavor combo though.
You can also use any milk that you want! To keep this recipe vegan, just use any vegan milk and yogurt that you like.
What’s your favorite way to make oatmeal?!
