Pesto Christmas Trees
Pesto Christmas Trees, The easiest appetizer for a holiday party! You only need 4 ingredients to make these fun treats!
Ingredients
1 roll of puff pastry
1/4 cup pesto
2 tbsp hot honey
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
Method
On a piece of parchment paper, roll out the puff pastry
Add the pesto, hot honey, and Parmesan cheese
Cut into no bigger than 1 inch slices
Fold each slice over 3-4 times, making each layer smaller as you go. This helps it look more like a Christmas tree!
Leave one strip to cut into stars for the trees.
Either bake the trees as is or add to skewers to make them easier to eat!
Bake at 400F for 12-14 minutes but remove the stars at 10 because they bake faster!
Add the stars to the skewers after they bake.
This makes about 8 trees!
