I topped mine with melted coconut butter and oh. my. gosh. was it good!!! We are so obsessed with these and I love to make a big batch and freeze some of them! They reheat well if you pop them in the toaster.

Cinnamon rolls will forever be a breakfast favorite over here. We used to eat those canned Pillsbury cinnamon rolls on holidays. My mom would make extra icing to put on top and you can’t convince me there’s anything better than extra icing. If you’re looking for a healthy way to recreate cinnamon rolls at home but don’t want to go through all the trouble of actually making them- these muffins are your answer. These cinnamon roll muffins are paleo, gluten free, and absolutely delicious

8 slices 1x
Gluten Free Cinnamon Roll Loaf



4 eggs
2 cups almond flour
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
3 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp applesauce (can sub butter or ghee here)
2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp nut butter

Cinnamon sugar layer:
1/2 cup coconut sugar
2 tbsp melted ghee
2 tsp cinnamon


  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, then add the rest of the bread ingredients in and mix together well. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and add 1/2 the batter.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon sugar layer together.
  3. Add 1/2 the cinnamon sugar mixture to the batter.
  4. Then add the rest of the batter on top.
  5. Drizzle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  6. Bake at 350F for 39-41 minutes.
  7. Let cool completely then drizzle melted coconut butter or powdered sugar mixed with mix on top!
  8. Slice and enjoy!
