Bang Bang Tofu (vegan, gluten free)
Bang Bang Tofu (vegan, gluten free). A healthy meatless, plant based dinner that is a healthier take on the classic recipe.

Ingredients
Tofu:
1 package extra firm tofu
1/2 cup almond milk
2/3 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup tapioca flour
1 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp salt
Sauce:
1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise
2 tsp sriracha
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic
Sprinkle of salt
Method
- In a shallow bowl, add the milk
- In another shallow bowl, mix the flours, garlic, and salt together
- Dip the tofu in the milk then in the flour mixture. I did multiple tofu blocks at once
- You can make them 1 of 2 ways:
1: Heat a skillet over low medium heat
Add a generous amount of oil. I used avocado oil
Then add the tofu. I did two batches
Cook for 3-4 minutes, flip, add a little more oil and cook until they’re browned
2. Preheat oven at 400F for and bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
With either method, once it’s done: - Add to a bowl and let them cool for a few minutes
- Then in a small bowl mix the sauce ingredients.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the tofu and enjoy!
