Crockpot Cilantro Lime Tacos
An easy spring/summer crockpot recipe! Sooo easy to throw this on in the morning and have delicious tacos for dinner hours later!
Ingredients
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
juice of 4 small limes
zest of 1 lime
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 cup cilantro, chopped
spices:
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp salt
Method
- Add chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour lime juice, broth, spices, lime zest , & cilantro over chicken.
- Cover and cook on high 4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
- Remove chicken from slow cooker, shred with two forks and return to slow cooker.
- Serve immediately as tacos or meal prep as taco bowls for the week!
