I need all the cookie recipes + cozy drinks right now! This vegan white hot chocolate recipe is perfect to cozy up on the couch with the next few months. It’s easy to make and only requires 4 main ingredients. I topped mine with almond milk whipped cream which I highly recommend! I’ve also added a shot (or two….) of almond milk Baileys which is delish if you’re looking for a festive alcoholic drink!
What You Need For This Recipe:
White Chocolate Chips (if you’re vegan, make sure they’re vegan!)
Milk of Choice
Coconut Cream
Vanilla Extract
Saucepan
Recipe Tips:
This recipe requires you to bring the mixture to a simmer but don’t let it boil- the chocolate chips will burn! Also stir it frequently.
You can get vegan white chocolate chips and vegan whipped cream at a lot of different stores! I found both at Walmart actually. Health food stores like Whole Foods will always have the most options though. Hope you enjoy this vegan white hot chocolate!

Ingredients
- 2 cups milk of choice (I used oat milk)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (vegan if keeping it plant based)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp coconut cream (the thick, white part. Not the liquid!)
- Optional: whipped cream. I used almond milk whipped cream!
Method
- Heat a saucepan over medium heat
- Add the milk
- Let it warm up to a simmer
- Stir in the white chocolate chips, vanilla, and coconut cream
- Keep stirring until everything is melted together. You don’t want to bring to a boil or the chips burn.
- Should take about 2-3 mins for everything to heat up!
- Topped with almond milk whipped cream + sprinkles
